Project Overview

The revitalization of Saputo Dairy products facility in Sulphur Springs, Tx is a signature example of the extensive capabilities and quality of work that Down To Earth Services provides. As an international leader in the dairy industry, Saputo’s industrial facilities needed to match their global image. Not only did the location require creative design solutions, it also required extensive demolition and renovations to existing outdated structures. This project consisted of over 50,000 square feet of new construction requiring extensive structural, concrete and utility solutions. The final result is a showcase of Down To Earth Services’ design and construction capabilities.

  • Demolish and remove 1,3050 square feet of the original building.
  • Add an addition 34,310 square feet of new dock high building to adjoin the existing building.
  • Remodel 25,380 square feet of existing building.
  • Create an approximately 30,000 square feet of new production area inside of existing and new building.
  • Install new tank foundations, all associated underground utilities, and electrical upgrades to the facility.
  • Demolish old wastewater facility and install 18’ of fill dirt.
  • Install approximately 50,000 square feet of new concrete paving.
  • Install all underground utilities, Infrastructure, and new building for a new wastewater facility.
  • Construct a new 10,035 square foot office, 1,140 square feet of covered breezeways, and a 1,200 square foot new locker room.
  • Remodel approximately 8,400 square feet of old office space into new clean lab space, training rooms, office, and expanded restroom facilities.
