Bag in a Box Project – Saputo

 

The revitalization of Saputo Dairy products facility in Sulphur Springs, Tx is a signature example of the extensive capabilities and quality of work that Down To Earth Services provides. As an international leader in the dairy industry, Saputo’s industrial facilities needed to match their global image. Not only did the location require creative design solutions, it also required extensive demolition and renovations to existing outdated structures. This project consisted of over 50,000 square feet of new construction requiring extensive structural, concrete and utility solutions. Saputo needed new 40 ft. IBeams installed in 20 ft. high rooms to support HVAC units before removing load bearing walls. The final result is a showcase of Down To Earth Services’ design and construction capabilities. 

Project Overview

  • Install new I beam supports under existing roof and HVAC units for the removal of load bearing walls.
  • Demolish and remove load bearing block walls and steel mezzanine.
  • Install new plumbing and floor drains.
  • Install new dairy brick flooring, wall, and ceiling finishes.
  • Make ready for new production equipment.
  • All work performed with no interruptions to adjacent production rooms.
